COVID-19 - Stage 3 Training Allocations

Moving into Stage 3 of COVID-19 restrictions, there has been an easing of restrictions for football participation.

Football Queensland has released updated Return to Play guidelines for Stage 3 of the Queensland Government’s roadmap to easing of restrictions.

View the updated Return to Play guidelines.

The updated Return to Play guidelines take effect from today, Friday 3 July.

Developed in consultation with medical authorities, Football Queensland’s Return to Play guidelines align with the Queensland Government’s Return to Play Guide and the approved COVID Safe Industry Plan for Field Sports.

The main points to take away from the above guidelines are:

  • lifting restrictions on the number of persons attending facilities;

  • the return of “contact” allowing games and contact based training to proceed;

  • requirement of persons attending venues to check in and check out using your smartphone and a venue specific simple QR code (see FQ QR Code Attendance Tracking).

All other requirements (including sanitisation, staggered training times, social distancing, etc) remain in place. Please review the Return to Play Guidelines to ensure you are up to date with the current requirements.

In line with the updated Guidelines, Capalaba FC has now released an updated Training Allocation schedule which will come into effect from Monday 13th July, 2020. You can view the updated training schedule here

All players are requested to liaise with their coach/manager ahead of their first training session of the coming week.
