I feel that the club has a strong family feel to it which will be the backbone of our structure and future success. Baker holds a UEFA B Licence and also is qualified as a FA Level 2 Goalkeeper coach.  With a degree in Sports Management and a Diploma of Sports Science, both achieved in the United Kingdom, Daniel has the credentials to guide the men’s football department into the QPL. His coaching career began in 2013 back in the UK as a Technical Director managing 25 teams ranging from ages 5 to 16.  Moving to Australia in 2016 he was academy coach at Virginia United, from there he took on a dual role at Gympie United in the Sunshine Coast Premier League – coaching the senior side as well as overseeing training from under 4 to under 16.

Head Coach David Booth is both well known to both the Bulldogs and the regions football community.  David started coaching at Capalaba late 2015 where he spent time as Technical Director and Under 18 Brisbane Premier League coach and finished the 2017 season as Brisbane Premier League Reserves coach.  Before landing at the Kennel David spent 10 years with Redlands United coaching within the National Premier League ranks from Under 13 through to Seniors. Booth holds a C Licence, working towards a B Licence, and has completed the Skills Acquisition Trainer: Sports Conditioning course.

“This is the start of a new era for Capalaba FC, I am looking forward to creating a successful environment for our QPL top team Booth said of the challenge ahead.

Under 20 Head Coach Oliver Briggs has followed a similar path to Baker, working in the youth system with Hadley Wood & Wingate coaching Under 14s and Under 12s. Oliver then moved to Virginia United where he has spent the last three seasons coaching Under 12, Under 15 and Under 18 academy teams.  In 2017 Briggs was part of the senior coaching staff who lead the Capital League side gaining promotion into the Brisbane Premier League. Oliver holds a C Licence and is currently enrolled in the B Licence course.

Under 18 Head Coach Peter Gallagher has spent many years at Capalaba within the junior ranks both as a player and an academy coach.  Peter spent the last two years as assistant coach to the Under 18 Brisbane Premier League squad, last season under David Booth, and the club has backed him to take on the role as head coach in 2018.  Peter is working towards his C Licence in 2018.
