Notice of Annual General Meeting

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ALL CAPALABA FC MEMBERS

 

In accordance with the terms of our Constitution, notice is given of Capalaba Football Club Inc. 2020 Annual General Meeting.

We hereby invite all members and interested parties to attend the AGM and have the opportunity to hear about our achievements of the last year.

Due to Covid-19, some of our members were not able to register for the 2020 season for either financial reasons or as a result of CFC not fielding a team. As a result, we would like to offer Honorary memberships (expire 1st Jan 2021) to those who would like to attend, vote, or nominate for a position. Please email your Full name, team you would have been registered in, FFA number and DOB to  secretary@capalababulldogs.com prior to 16th September 2020 if you are interested in Honorary membership.

 

When:  Wednesday, 30th September 2020

Time:  7:00pm

Where: Capalaba Tavern (in the Sports Bar) 30 Old Cleveland Road Capalaba (Entry through bottom car park)

RSVP:  Wednesday 23rd September 2020

               

With Covid-19 venue capacities in place, we are required to RSVP prior to the night, please email the names of attendees to secretary@capalababulldogs.com by the above RSVP date.

 

Light refreshments will be served on the night.

 

All Committee positions will be declared vacant and nominations will be called for the following positions:

  • President

  • Secretary

  • Treasurer

  • Vice President

  • Football Chair

  • Senior Chair

  • Junior Chair

  • Women’s Chair

  • Communications Manager

  • Sponsorship Manager

  • Registrar

  • Business Manager

  • Facilities Manager

  • Fundraising Co-ordinator

  • Club Shop Co-ordinator

  • Match day Co-ordinator.

 

Please note, not all positions listed above are necessarily elected Committee positions, but positions that need to be filled to ensure the Club can operate as efficiently and effectively as possible and to reduce the workload across all members.

 

We seek interested members who are willing to devote some time and energy into driving their Club forward and making their Club, the Club of choice for all football players, regardless of age, gender, ability, or ambition.

Nominations close on Wednesday 16th September. Do not miss your opportunity to be a part of your Club’s future.
