The Bulldogs are committed to increasing female participation in football at Capalaba FC. With this goal in mind, we are absolutely thrilled to announce the appointment of Marco Prospero as our Director of Female Football. Marco will be driving female participation at the Doggies, and ensuring that all of our female players and coaches are represented, developed and supported - whether it be through improved player welfare or working with businesses to deliver better player facilities.

Marco holds a AFC B Licence, and has coached all ages from SAP to Academy at both Bayside United and Wynnum Wolves. The word on the street is that Marco is a Maradona and Torino tragic, having played a little football In Italy many years ago, before returning to play with the Central Coast.

Most recently, he moved into the female coaching ranks, coaching the FQPL3 women's first team at Wynnum. Marco loves the game, in particular tiki taka and catenaccio. As an ex player himself, he enjoys helping players learn, improve and importantly, enjoy football by having what he likes to call 'serious fun'.

He says, "𝘐 𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘣𝘺 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘮𝘺 𝘬𝘪𝘥𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘯 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘤𝘰𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘺 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰𝘰".

We have no doubt that female football at the Bulldogs is absolutely going to thrive under Marco's watch, and we can't wait to see what the new season brings. Welcome to the Bulldogs, Marco!
