Exciting times at Capalaba Football Club
Capalaba Football Club has announced trial dates for its Men’s, Women’s, Junior’s, and Miniroo football teams, in a search for the top players in the Brisbane and Redland City area to join its multiple state-wide Academy ranks.
The recent appointment of Matt Chandler, an NPL Queensland Championship winning coach, as Football Director, shows a clear path of ambition and progress for every age group at the club.
“I will be technically direct and manage the club on the football side – overseeing the three Technical Directors in small-sided football, women’s football and the FQ Premier League,” Matt explained.
“The board and coaches show great vision in where they want this club to go both on the field, and for its community; working with boys and girls with a passion for football and making it affordable as well as enjoyable to reach the level these kids can achieve.”
Capalaba FC President, Jason Ganter says it’s a key time to be a part of the club.
“It’s an exciting time to be involved at the club,” said Jason.
“We have the largest women’s programme in the area, which is part of the NPLW, FQPL teams from U13 to U20, and our Minroos Academy that will all be overseen by Matt and driven by our technical directors.”
“Behind the scenes we are developing some very exciting projects and working with key people to inject back into our community. We are working with people who share the same ambition as us, to give every player a chance.”
