NPLW Open Head Coach Announcement

Capalaba FC NPLW are proud to announce Dan Baker as the Opens Head Coach for the 2019 season.

Dan has his UEFA B Licence, FA Goal-Keeper L2 Licence and is a Sports Management Degree Graduate from the Loughborough University. Dan has a wealth of knowledge and coaching experience and can’t wait to get the season underway.

Dan has played and coached at Semi-Professional level in the United Kingdom, as well as Premier League level in Australia.

Dan has delivered some excellent sessions during recent trials and is focused on designing our pre-season.

When asked what he was looking forward to most with his new squad Dan stated “I play a disciplined but attacking style of football that I think the NPLW team will thrive under, especially considering the current squad we have and the players we’re bringing in. If everyone buys in to the way I want to play I have no doubt we’ll have a successful season”.

Football Director Matt Chandler is excited to have Dan onboard “Dan is an excellent appointment to our NPLW Program. I believe he will guide the team to it’s full potential and take the group to a new level of performance”.
