Capalaba FC NPLW Junior Coaches Announced

Capalaba Football Club is pleased to announce our team of National Premier Leagues Women junior development coaches for the 2018 season.

After careful consideration, the team has been selected by the club’s NPLW Technical Director, Steve Duncan.

“It is an exciting time at Capalaba FC because we are expanding on a great female football culture with a team of enthusiastic and committed coaches. These coaches are very capable of taking our junior female program to the next level in 2018“ Duncan said.

NPLW U17

Teo Atomii has been selected as the U17 Head Coach. Teo has been coaching at Capalaba for 4 years and he has more than 15 years experience as a player at the highest level in Europe. Teo holds an FFA Game Training Certificate and is enrolled in the C License course due to start in December.

Assisting Teo with the Under 17 side will be Leia Dietz. Leia has a Certificate IV in personal training along with experience in implementing fitness training programs for youth women at Cleveland District State High School. Leia has expressed her interest in football coaching for some time and was the U16 Division 1 girls team manager this year. Leia is enrolled in a game training course and will also be attending the C License commencing in December.

NPLW U15

Jessica Mclean, Head Coach and Lindsay Webb, Assistant Coach will guide the Under 15 side.  Jessica, known around the club as JJ, has been coaching young women at Olympic FC for four years and at Capalaba FC this 2017 season. Jessica was the Bulldogs’ women’s junior Goal Keeper Coach, she has a wealth of experience as a player at the National Premier League Womens and Brisbane Womens Premier League level over the past seven years.  JJ is currently studying to be a Teacher and is enrolled in the C License course in December.

Lindsay is a former Bulldog and has been coaching junior women at Capalaba FC for the past four years. Lindsay was awarded Junior Coach of the Year in his first year as a coach. In 2016 Lindsay coached our Under 13 Division 1 girls to the Premiers Plate and Runners-up in the Grand Final. He was our U14 Division 1 girls coach for the 2017 season.  Lindsay holds a Game Training Certificate and is enrolled in the C License starting in December.

NPLW U13

Scott Giles has been selected as the U13 Head Coach for 2018. Scott has been coaching junior women at Capalaba FC for the past two seasons. Most recently he co-coached the U14 Division 1 girls with Lindsay Webb this year. Along with his coaching efforts at Capalaba FC, Scott was also Head Coach of an Under 12 mixed team this season for Mooroondu FC.  Scott holds a Game Training Certificate and is enrolled in the C License course in December.
