Capalaba FC Appoints Steve Duncan as Junior Director of Coaching

Capalaba FC welcomes Steve Duncan as Junior Director of Coaching for 2017.

Steve is already looking after the coaching development for the Junior Girls teams and has accepted the position of JDOC to help further develop the Junior boys coaches.

When asked why he was keen to take on the role, Steve responded:

"Better Coaches = Better Football.
I Worked closely with Terry Parle for the early part of the year to make sure our Football Philosophy was aligned, in order to bring some consistency across the club.
Our aim is to improve the delivery of Football with a Player Centred Approach, that starts with the Coach. We’ve made progress with Coaches throughout the female side of the club already and I look forward to picking up where Terry left off, supporting the development of our Coaching staff in FFA’s National Football Curriculum, club wide."

When you meet Steve you can see immediately how passionate he is about the game of football. Since he has joined the club at the start of the year he has embraced our club culture and is proud to be part of Capalaba FC.

Please make Steve feel welcome when you see him around the club. Coaches will have an opportunity to meet Steve in the next couple of weeks.
